2025 Sharp Mini Late Model Fuel System Update

The original custom RCI fuel cells for the Sharp Mini Late Model have become increasingly difficult to source — so we built a better solution. The new 2025 Fuel System Update is a complete rework of the original design, featuring a readily available 3-gallon RCI fuel cell mounted in a precision cradle system for easy service and streamlined installation.

The bolt-on cradle attaches directly to the chassis using 1-1/4" bar clamps, allowing for quick removal without welding or cutting. Improved packaging of the fuel pump and pressure regulator provides a clean, compact fit — and a single fuel line to the rail makes plumbing straightforward and reliable.

As an added safety upgrade, the cradle includes an integrated heat deflector to protect the fuel cell from redirected exhaust gases in the event of muffler rotation — a small but important detail for serious racers.
